Nordic Culture Point serves as a secretariat for two cultural programmes of the Nordic Council of Ministers: the Arts and Culture Programme and the Mobility and Residency Programme. The programmes are limited to the time period 2007-2009.
The programmes are open for all forms of art and culture, but only for professional artists and operators in the field. The programmes include different forms of project support from travel grants to support for production extending over several years.
There are several application rounds for the programmes every year. Application times.
The objective of the new programmes is to create opportunities for activities within a certain timeframe. After that the results of the programmes will be assessed. Nordic cultural cooperation serves as a complementary input into the cultural and art life of the Nordic countries and autonomous regions.
